The Party Life

I haven't updated the blog for awhile so thought I should write a little about the adventures from the past few months. After returning from Florida I was to start looking for a new home, Nicole my wonderful room mate decided to move in with her boyfriend and I decided to take that opportunity to find a new place. Luckily enough I not only found a fantastic house in a fantastic neighborhood but also a bunch of fantastic people! I moved in with 6 wonderful Irish folk. As you can imagine its a pretty fun house hold. Although it's not all Guinness and Jameson, but of course the weekends always bring a bit of good fun and a laugh. Great Craic as they would say around here!

Going out with the "family" is not like going out with anyone else, the madness that takes over any place we go to is hilarious and we always manage to find some new friends along the way!

This was a night out on a street called Ossington. Loads of funky restaurants and bars that suited us perfectly!
Me and follow Aussie Adam. We have to stick together amongst the swill of Irish.

Just for the record Mitch doesn't normally have a hairy caterpillar on his lip. This was his Movember effort!

Anita and Darrel a couple of Irish friends that don't live in the house!

Amy rocking out the only way she can!

Us girls of the house have to stick together!

Adam and Clover

Robert and Trev

Mick!!

By the end of the night we were telling the DJ what to play, had the bar staff up dancing and typically took over the place!

Halloween was another big event, I actually carved a pumpkin for the first time!!

His name was Nelson!

In the kitchen before the party!

Shane the perfect Joker!

Yes I am a shark a big fat inflatable one!

Having spent many weekends down at The Bellevue or Ronnies, two local bars we tend to frequent quite a lot. We decided it was about time we went out and did something a little different. So a group of us descended on Medieval times for a bit of jousting fun!

Of course after the jousting we descended on another bar!

Knight Jimmers

Another family adventure took us to a small town in Ontario called Kitchener. Famous for it's Oktoberfest. As you can imagine a bunch of Irish and Aussies at one such event was only going to equal lots of drink!
We got tickets to a festival hall and enjoyed some German music and Sausages however fun police also happened to be in attendance and disliked the Irish sing-a-long and booted us all out. Was rather funny of course we made sure we found another place to join the festivities!

The next day we headed back to 81 Bellevue and continued the fun. It also happened to be a balmy 25 degrees so we made sure to make use of the last warm day with cold beers and some more sing songs!

Amy cranking out a tune!

The famous 81 Bellevue.

Needless to say the last few months have been a laugh. Christmas adventures will be next on the fun list and looking forward to snowboarding in Mont Tremblant with the lads!
