We were also in Toronto for the welcoming of 2010 and spent it very casually with Stefanie, Mark and Jeremy playing cards, drinking way to much wine and being harassed by a fat cat!

Kerrie the first day of 2010!
Kerrie stayed for another tow more days and got a few more Canadian dollars spent before she headed home to a beautiful and hot New South Wales Summer. I was lucky enough to have Mum stay with me for another week!

Besides dragging Mum to work with me I also took her for a drive to what is normally a great place to visit in the summer but hey it was winter and we had to do something other than shop. So off to Prince Edward County we went, in search of frozen lakes and more wine!

Partly frozen Lake Ontario.

Cottage snow!

Fun driving conditions.

Mum's only taste of the Native American culture. Mohawk's Service Station.

Snowy farm land.
After a week of more freezing temps and plenty of trips to the theater, shops and cinemas it was time for Mum to head back to the Sunshine Coast and leave me here in the freezer. It was such an amazing 3 weeks we all felt like we had been away for ages and it was so great to do so much with Mum and Kerrie. Definitely this trip goes on the books as one of the best Christmases ever!
