Wow it's been so cold! Well cold as far as I am concerned but of course I have been told "Ha, you think this is cold you wait until February!" But for me it's been pretty bloody cold I don't think I can ever recall having experienced sub zero temperatures so as far as I am concerned yes -8 degrees Celsius is COLD! We had our first real snow fall of the season last Wednesday night. Which brought on my first experience driving home in a snow storm. Though to be honest it wasn't so bad because I was simply so excited that it was snowing so much. The next morning when I woke up the city had turned into a Winter Wonderland! I love the snow! I love the way it crunches under foot and how it makes everything looks so pretty and clean. Of course I went on a photo spree and as promised my "trees changing colour" photography has now become "Snow, Snow and more Snow." I have been told that the snow fall that night was a light one compared to what's coming!! Woo hooo! I can't wait!

HA HA yes this is a photo of just snow!

I recently took a drive north of Toronto to the next major town called Barrie. There is not much really to talk about when it comes to Barrie is seemed like a nice enough town on the edge of Lake Simcoe, although perhaps a little slow for my liking. But it was nice to get out of the city and see another part of Ontario, I also went to Georgian Bay a part of Lake Huron and to Wasaga beach the longest fresh water beach in the world although I suggest it would probably be best to head there in the summer instead of the start of Winter!
mmmm apparently there is a zero tolerance for just about everything in Barrie!

So if you had not already heard I have changed jobs. I am back working for The Little Gym franchise and must say I am quite happy doing handstands and running around all day with out shoes on once again. The team that we have at The Little Gym of Vaughan is awesome and I could not be happier. We recently had Breakfast Television (BT) come to the gym to see what it's all about and of course have a chat to yours truly. BT is somewhat similar to Sunrise for those you in Australia. It was a pretty funny experience as Jennifer Valentyn the presented kept going on about my "beautiful accent" ha ha! Any hoos I managed to get my ugly mug on Canadian TV so I can now mark that off my list of things to do in Canada!

Being interviewed!

Hopefully I will be able to get my hands on a copy of the segment to post soon but for now the photos are all I've got!

We have also had Halloween since I last posted. I must say my night was pretty low key due to having to work the next day. But I did head down to The Crown and Dragon for a few drinks with the locals... Of course since I already had the accent I had to go as a famous Australian and since every second person has to say "Crickey" when they find out I am Australian I decided to go as Bindi Irwin. A big thank you to my mum for getting my out fit together and sending it over to me!!

Jack-o-
lanterns are a serious deal here during Halloween.

Even for the
Stoners down the street!
OMG It's
